Performance Opportunities
Twice a year, team and selected non-team class students participate in large, professional quality stage productions. Throughout the year students might also be invited to participate in competitions, showcases and community events.
The Nutcracker
Near the end of our Fall Season, we present The Nutcracker.
It’s a holiday tradition that the entire family will enjoy!
Degas team students and selected non-team students join together with professional performers to create an unforgettable holiday season spectacle.
Vibrant costumes, eye-popping digital backdrops and professional quality choreography and staging elevate this production beyond what you’ll see at a typical dance studio performance.
Degas Original Production
Near the end of our Spring Season, we present an original and exclusive original production. Typically we also feature a special Pre-Show program to showcase the work of our students who are not in classes participating in the production.
These original dance productions, are story-driven, fully costumed events with digital backdrops presented in some of the very best mid-sized theaters in the LA area.
Currently, our rotation of shows include: “Alice in Hollywood”, “The Lottery”, “Proxima” and “Reality.”
