Skylynn Stokes travels around the country with HEAT dance convention as a PRO assistant. She started dancing at the age of 7 and has been a part of the Degas Dance Studio family for over 10 years. She has trained in various styles from Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theatre, Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, Acro and everything in between.

She is a graduate of LACHSA Los Angeles County High School of Arts. Skylynn was the lead role in the original production of PROXIMA and has received numerous awards and acknowledgments from competitions. She has attended Degas Dance Studio Teacher Training and before joining the faculty she assisted and substituted for several teachers.

Given all that she has learned along her journey she is excited to share those lessons and knowledge with the upcoming generations.
