Ashley Shukman

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Ashley Shukman started her dance training at 11 at Los Angeles Ballet Academy under the direction of Andrea Paris-Gutierrez. She performed ballets including the role of Swanhilda in their production of Coppélia and won several awards at competitions such as YAGP. Upon graduation, she completed her Royal Academy of Dance examination with distinction and American Ballet Theater's Level 6 examinations.
In 2023, she graduated magna cum laude from Fordham/Ailey, double majoring in Dance and New Media and Digital Design. During this time, she performed works by José Limón, Brice Mousset, Helen Simoneau, Ethan Colangelo, and Tina Bush. She enhanced her studies at LINES Ballet, Hubbard Street, Complexions Ballet, BODYTRAFFIC, L.A. Contemporary Dance, and Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary.
Currently, Ashley works as a freelance dancer and digital marketer. With a fervent passion for both art and media, Ashley is dedicated to exploring innovative ways to merge creativity with business. She also aims to share her passion for dance with others, making them feel welcome and ensuring they have fun. By fostering an inclusive and joyous environment, Ashley hopes to inspire a love for dance in everyone she encounters.
